NEWS FLASH

Search for Queensland’s next supermodel!

The Coffee Club Parades have been a major attraction of the Royal Queensland Show for many years and will return in 2009 with more glamour and excitement than ever before.

A highlight of these parades is The Coffee Club New Faces of the Ekka competition where ten finalists will parade in their own special segment at each show, competing to win 12 months representation with Viviens Model Management.  Viviens Model Management is one of the largest model agencies in the world, representing supermodels such as Gemma Ward, Sarah O’Hare and Kristy Hinze.

In the six years since the competition launched, past winners have appeared in the pages of Vogue Australia, featured in TV commercials and won lucrative modelling contracts overseas.

The Coffee Club New Faces of the Ekka model audition for 2009 will be held at the following location:

Brisbane: Queen Street Mall Upper Stage, Friday 10 July 6.00pm – 8.00pm

The competition is open to males and females aged between 15 and 22 years old.  To try out and have the chance to be selected in the top ten, click here to read the terms and conditions and download an entry form. Complete the form and bring a full length photo and head shot to the audition.

The ten finalists will receive a Millennium model training package and have their looks recreated with a make up and hair makeover by Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics and CorCorz for Hair.

They will then experience what it is like to model professionally when they perform in The Coffee Club Parades at the Ekka in front of over 50,000 people!

One winner chosen by the judges and a People’s Choice winner will be announced on Friday 14 August at 11.45am.
